Background & Bio
Prior to joining Carbon Direct, Shannon worked at First Street Foundation, where she applied her expertise to analyze and communicate climate risk to individuals, businesses, and government entities.
Before First Street, Shannon honed her technical abilities at a robotics company, where she contributed to the development of comprehensive maps for their first self-driving delivery vehicles. She also spent time at Apple, where she contributed to the development of Apple Maps.
During her time at First Street, Shannon earned her Master's in Engineering Science with a focus on engineering sustainability, conducting research into renewable and alternative energy, economic perspectives on engineering sustainability, sustainable development, and climate change communication.
